If you’re an angler who regularly likes to target carp with zig rigs then it is more than likely that you’ve encountered problems landing you capture with a traditional net. This is why Prologichas designed this Zigger Landing Net, specifically designed with fishing for carpwith zig rigs in mind. This is also a great landing net option if you’re an angler who varies between 12ft and 13ft setups, as well as for the angler who tackles snaggy or high waters. The Prologic Zigger Landing Net boasts a whopping 300cm handle, which is just over 9ft 8 inches in old money. This handle comes in two sections. One 180cm (5ft 9 inches) handle is ideal for general angling use. The 120cm (3ft 9 inches) extension adds a huge amount of extra reach to the net when you need it the most and is perfect for landing your catch when you’ve used a zig rig, 13ft carp rod, or you’re battling with weedy waters. This extension can be easily connected by simply unscrewing the butt cap from the 180cm handle and inserting the extension in its place. You can remove the extension with the same ease, allowing you to effectively shorten your handle whilst in use on the bank if you find yourself in a tighter swim.
The spreader block on the Prologic Zigger Landing Net is manufactured from 3K HM Carbon. This is every bit as stiff and sturdy as a traditional stainless or aluminium block whilst having the added benefit of reducing the overall weight of the net. Two shaped EVA sleeves on the mesh arms further aid the netting process and ensure that even you’re fishing along using long zig rigs you’re still able to land your capture without issue. The net has a wide and deep spread, ensuring that you can land even the biggest UK carp.
