The Big Snooze is ultra-light at only 3.2kg so you can easily store and transport it in your luggage without any problems, especially as it’s supplied with a stuff sack. Its weight may be deceiving, because it is still an extremely warm and comfortable sleeping bag with many useful features that will help you when you’re angling. It has highly breathable material, so it keeps you comfortably toasty and warm instead of feeling overwhelmingly hot. The material itself is ripstop; this is highly resistant to tears or rips and therefore this bag will last you a long time and see you through a whole number of angling sessions. Inside the bag is a soft, green fleece which will make your over-night stay as comfortable as possible whilst providing you with the needed extra warmth inside.
Getting out of a sleeping bag in the middle of the night is a commonly known struggle to anglers like yourself, especially with fiddly zips that get caught in the material. Now, this will be a problem of the past. On each side of the bag there are quick-release zips which make opening and closing the bag as easy and quick as anything. The material next to the zips also has webbing which will prevent the zip from ever snagging. With this bag, you can climb in at night, stress-free, knowing that if you get a bite in the middle of the night you can get out of your bag hassle free to reel in your carp.
Surrounding the zips, there are various strips of Velcro and drawstrings which you can you to help trap the warmth into your sleeping bag during the night, so there is no chance of it seeping out. These are very handy at trapping heat and will also make the bag more secure overall.
What’s more, this sleeping bag will fit super securely and tightly to your bed chair. It has secure elasticated bedchair head and foot fixings which are easy to stretch over either side of your bedchair. Once placed, they remain firmly in place and won’t move around or slide off which may be an issue with other sleeping bags. The bag also has a bedchair fixing strap in the centre which will reduce any movement and therefore will provide you with a better night’s sleep.
