AD Hessian Fishing Bag For Life
AD Hessian Bag for Life
This AD Hessian Bag for Life will be a firm favourite amongst anglers. It is a great size, with the capacity to at least hold two bait boxes side by side, and is capable of holding a massive weight of approximately 20kg. This makes this bag ideal for carrying a range of tackle to the bank, whether that’s your bait for your session, your food and cooking equipment, or your tackle box. It’s also ideal for off bank use and it forms a great alternative to a plastic bag for your weekly food (or tackle) shop! The bag has soft cotton padded handles, which makes carrying it comfortable and hassle free, even when it is loaded up with a full 20kg worth of goods.
As with all hessian bags, the inks and dyes are AZO free, the lining is biodegradable, and the hessian itself is a sustainable material. This is a sustainable multi-use bag and Angling Direct aims to reduce the discarding of single-use plastic carrier bags within the angling trade, and the litter associated with them, by encouraging people to re-use their bags when they go shopping. To make it even better, in conjunction with the Angling Trades Association (ATA) - of which Angling Direct is a member - ALL proceeds generated from sales of AD Hessian Bags for Life will go directly towards supporting National Fishing Month (NFM).
Naidre Werner, NFM Coordinator and ATA Chair commented: It’s fabulous that Angling Direct is supporting National Fishing Month in this way and I am very grateful for their commitment. Without a doubt, the money raised from this idea will contribute significantly to the NFM coffers and hopefully encourage other members of the trade to come up with equally creative ways of supporting what is anglings largest participation initiative.
National Fishing Months aims to grow the sport of angling. It not only focuses on youth engagement but it also encourages people from non-angling cultural and social backgrounds to get involved with the sport. The official month runs between the end of July and end of August, with participation growing year on year.
Darren Bailey, MD for Angling Direct added:
As enthusiastic members of the Angling Trades Association, it made sense to support National Fishing Month. Participation initiatives like NFM are designed to attract newcomers into our sport and with more anglers there is greater protection for our fisheries and the ecosystem in general. Attracting new anglers means more future customers and so it makes perfect business sense to generate money that can be donated to this type of initiative. Over the next few months, the team at Angling Direct are taking a much closer look at how we can help grow our sport, as it is vital that retailers, manufacturers and organisations work together to protect our futures. Over the next five years, Angling Direct will run out a number of grass roots initiatives that underpin the growth of the angling community, support the environment, and demonstrate our commitment to business growth and our employees.
Angling Direct is the largest online tackle retailer in the UK, stocking over 10,000 products from approximately 200 of the leading brands in the industry. However, the company didn’t begin life on such a grand scale and it originally started out as a small independent tackle shop in Norfolk. Over the past thirty years Angling Direct has expanded and it currently has stores scattered across East Anglia, the South East, the Midlands, and the North of England. The company continues to grow and is built on an ethos of providing a range of top quality products to anglers on all budgets – year round.
