Advanta X5 All Balsa

Advanta X5 All Balsa, Traditionally shaped all-balsa river style floats, but with the addition of super high visibility hollow plastic sight tips. Due to a special (low friction) paint finish, these compact floats take surprisingly big loadings. This feature makes them very stable and gains good control in fast flowing water. The buoyant, translucent tips wont drag under easily and show up exceptionally well, even when trotting extreme distances. X5 all balsas are top floats to use when targeting big river fish like chub, barbel, bream and specimen roach. They combine well with traditional baits like bread flake, maggots, sweetcorn and casters, also with modern offerings like pellets, punched meat and mini boilies. Best rig format is to use big shot or an olivette bulk, with two spread out smaller weights below. To prevent slippage on the main line, position float rubbers just below the sight tip, halfway down the body and over the plastic base eye (or just above if you want to thread line through the eye).
