Ideal for inshore boat fishing, the Akios Vertron 656CS multiplier reel features a synchronised level wind system providing perfect line lay on the spool.
The Akios Vertron 656CS has a centrifugal braking system which offers effective spool control to prevent overruns during the cast when uptiding or should you choose to cast from the shore. The precision machined 5.3:1 brass main and multi disc carbon drag system offers the grunt and control to deal with larger species such as tope, smoothhound, conger, bull huss and rays.
The perfect pairing for the VERTRON series of boat rods including the 12-20lb, 15-25lb and also the 20-30lb uptide/boat combo rod.
