Century Excalibur SRE Rod

Century Excalibur SRE Rod, Next generation sea, river and estuary rod designed primarily for fixed spool use and excels when you are using a reel brimming with braid. This incredibly light (530 grams) and low diameter 3 section rod is well balanced yet deceptively powerful. The Excalibur SRE is furnished with the best hardware including Titanium SiC guides as standard. The design draws on Centurys legendary casting heritage and is easily compressed to deliver appropriate range for this style of rod: the tip section remains light and sensitive for that all important bite detection. The Fuji NS7 reel seat and JSR handle sit below a 1k-1k carbon matt low scratch carbon finish on the butt and middle and the tip is tough, unground UD high performance carbon. Marine grade stainless steel trim bands are placed above the JSR grips at the joints which are easy to separate.
