The Daiwa D Mackerel Combo 10ft is supplied with a 4000-sized reel ready to go with 0.40mm/18lb mono. Designed to handle casting weights from 20-60g/1oz- 2.5oz and with a forgiving casting action that makes them ideal for working lures, feathers, and traces. With ceramic guides for improved casting performance and a hook keeper, and a cork handle. A perfect holiday outfit for bagging a few mackerel from piers, boats, and the shore.
Note: This is a great combo for use with feathers and lures using weights of around 2oz. If you need something for long-range work, look for rods around 12ft that cast weights around 4-6oz.
