Designed to complement the range of fly fishing rods in the NewEra series, this NewEra Spinning showcases the series’ foray into predator fishing tackle. Not a brand to do things in half measures, Daiwa has made sure that this NewEra Spinning can do everything from hunting salmon in the Scottish highlands to fighting blue water predators. This is why there are three rods in the NewEra Spinning range. The first two of these offer a three piece pack down and are 9ft and 10ft in length. These are extremely versatile tools that look as at home on a boat as they do on the bank and they will see you through all your spinning activities. The standout rod in the series, however, is the 10/11ft option. Offering a six part pack down that compresses this rod to a mere 2ft, this is the ultimate rod for the space-conscious travelling angler. However, unlike other rod series where a multi-part pack-down could negatively impact the power of the rod, this rod performs perfectly in both the three and six part options. This is thanks to the introduction of Daiwa’s innovative Bias Carbon V Joint technology. Unlike traditional male-to-female joints, V Joints zero disruption to the taper of the rod. Allowing for a smooth loading of power and exceptional torque resistance, this rod has an exquisite curvature and offers wonderful casting and fish playing ability.

The main body of the rod blanks are constructed from high modulus carbon and are furnished with Fuji gunsmoke SiC guides and a Fuji reel seat. The premier designer of rod guides and reel seats, Fuji will let your line fly whilst keeping your reel secured. Finished in the classic NewEra red, this rod comes supplied with a compartmentalised travel tube as well as a hook keeper should you prefer to transport your rod fully made-up.
