Daiwa Saltist Uptide Rod, Daiwa Saltist Uptide 962-BU is a modern take on the much loved Daiwa 410 uptide concept. The heart of the Daiwa Saltist Uptide 962-BU is the slim and powerful 2 section X45 carbon blank. This is enhanced with 3DX to give a blank with the classic Daiwa tippy uptide action but loads of mid and lower end power to handle casting away from the boat and playing big fish in strong tides. The blank follows the classic long tip/short butt uptide design to give a perfect curve when both casting and playing a fish. The handle features a powerlift fore-grip to give you a secure grip whilst the Fuji DPS reel seat holds the reel firmly in place. Fuji K-Guides are used throughout giving smooth line flow with both braid and nylon. The Daiwa Saltist Uptide 962-BU is ideal for all uptide fishing and the tip shows bites well. it is a great fun rod for catching hounds, codling and bass but will still tame tope and blondes with ease.
