The SAS Mk7 Jacket has a waterproof rating of 5,000mm. This means that it can withstand up to 15ft of water pressure before any leakage occurs. As you might expect, this makes it more than suitable for most UK angling conditions and it can hold its own against even the most torrential storms. The outer shell of the jacket is constructed from 210 denier oxford nylon. This is an incredibly heavy duty material that can comfortably cope with most of the conditions that the UK scene can throw at it. What’s more, the elbows of the jacket are reinforced. This means that you’re protected from premature wear and tear, preserving and extending the life of the jacket. The inner lining of the jacket and the insulating stuffing are both manufactured from polyester. This means that the jacket is warm and incredibly comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time in especially cold conditions.

The jacket benefits from neoprene cuffs. These prevent any water running up the sleeves – for example whilst casting or retrieving – as well as preventing the incursion of draughts.
