Daiwa Spectron Match Rods
Designed to complement the range of feeder rods in the Spectron range, these Spectron Match Rods are perfect for a number of scenarios across the board when match fishing on the UK’s waters. The original Spectron range was revolutionary but, thanks to Daiwa’s continued technological advancements, the new Spectron range offers never before seen quality. This match fishing range of Spectron rods has been especially designed to serve popular commercial waters as well as wild water swims with equal ability and the rod series has already been taking the modern match scene by storm.
Constructed from HVF – a high volume carbon fibre that is exceptionally dense – this rod series is able to offer a punching casting action that can ensure you’ll be able to hit all the features you require. However, this isn’t just a casting rod and the high density fibre offers fantastic compression along its length. This cushions your cast and affords you buckets of control, enabling you to increase you power without fear of damaging your rod.
There are several varieties of the Spectron Match rod, in order to ensure that this rod range offers the kind of versatility that the modern match angler demands from their tackle. If you’re the kind of angler who likes to fish with pellet wagglers then there are two rods in the range designed especially for you. In equal sections, these 11ft and 12ft rods are ideal for casting pellets out great distances. If you’re more interested in open water work whilst float fishing then you can invest in either of the 13ft rods in the Spectron range. Both are equally capable, but the Power version offers slightly more distance on the cast and a quicker line pickup to compensate for this. If you’re an avid river angler then the combination length rods are ideal for you. The 13ft/15ft and the 17ft/20ft are both incredibly high performing river rods. The longer length rod is ideal on the deepest UK and continental rivers, whilst the shorter length can cope with any of the river fishing scenarios you’re likely to come across when fishing in Great British waters.
