The Theory Beach Multipliers rods are very responsive and easy to get on with. They deliver clean release and a very respectable casting distance of 200yds without much thought to your fishing technique. The compound taper tip is a clever hybrid of steel and stealth, delivering good lead control in setting up the cast, easy compression during casting, and pronounced bite detection that would be further amplified with braid in the rod rest. The Theory rods are tolerant of variances in technique and do not bite back unexpectedly to undermine user confidence. In all, Daiwa Theory Beach are lovely rods for clean beach fishing.
