The drop net included in the kit features a centre plate with a spring, simply place some bait under the spring and lower the net to the bottom from the pier, harbour wall or jetty, Bacon can make a very good bait for crabs and has lots of scent. Once the net is at the bottom leave it for some time and then haul in your catch if you can see one has crawled into the net. The transparent EVA bucket can be filled with sea water to allow you to view your catch and ensure they are kept wet during the fishing session, once finished release all your catch carefully back to the sea.
