Drennan Acolyte Pro Margin Carp 9.5m Pole

Drennan Tackle International produces tackle to three simple requirements. It must be a good value for money, easy to use, and, most importantly, it must help you catch more fish. Drennan’s Acolyte Pro Margin Pole is stiff, super strong and perfect for landing those larger, hard fighting commercial carp. The Acolyte Pro Margin Carp is built on the same mandrel as the Acolyte Pro Carp pole, but is even stronger, meaning that the top kits and the lower sections numbered three to seven can potentially interchange between these two poles. This interchangeable feature is very useful if you need to strengthen your pole for heavy duty margin fishing, or, alternatively ideal as a  spare back-up pole at a significantly reduced cost. As with the other Acolyte poles, the joints on the Pro Margin are reinforced to help reduce wear and prolong pole life.

The whole pole is made up of seven-sections and comes complete with a reversible mini extension. This brings the total length to 9.5m, perfect for quick casting when on a match. The pole comes with margins kits which helps you modify the device to what type of fish you are aiming to catch. The standard package comes with a total of three Kits (one in the pole and two spares) but, as with all Drennan poles, you can tailor this to your own requirements. In the standard package, one of the Margin Kits comes with the special Ghost Tip which has been specially treated with a light grey paint finish. This has been designed for ultra wary fish that could potentially be spooked by a dark carbon pole tip waving over their heads especially in very shallow margins.
