Drennan Red Range RX Carp 13m Pole, We believe the Red Range RX Carp sets new standards for a great value pole that performs exceptionally well at 13 metres. The RX Carp is purpose-built for catching carp on todays modern commercial fisheries and just as at home when targeting silverfish. Our aim was to design the optimum 13m pole for the money. By investing in the very best tech-nology and materials into 13 metres of pole there is no compromise on performance and usability. We would rather do this than create a 14.5m pole, for example, that was only really fishable at 13 metres. This is the same ethos that we apply to all Drennan poles. The RX Carp is therefore not just a Red Range Carp 11m with an extra butt section; it has been designed from the ground up with higher grade carbon. Usefully, we have ensured that the Carp Kits are interchangeable between both models. The RX Carp comes with a total of three Carp Kits, each with factory-fitted Side Pull Slots. A full set of optional Roller Cones are also included, so you can take full advantage of our super-smooth Side Pull System, should you wish. The Side Pull System allows you to control the amount of elastic a fish can pull out, enabling you to subdue fish of all sizes with confidence. A generous amount of extras includes two Skid Bungs, EVA nose cones for the No2 (ready fitted) and No3 sections, two Cupping Kit Adaptors, a Polemaster Pole Pot, six Super Slick internal PTFE bushes, a Roller Cone extractor rod and eight Side Pull Beads. The two threaded cupping kit adaptors are supplied should you wish to convert one of the Carp Kits into a Cupping Kit. Two sizes help to ensure that your cupping kit can be the same length as your top kit if cut back, which is vital for accurate feeding. The 2.3m Carp Kits are ready to elasticate straight from the bag with the 4.2mm Super Slick PTFE Bush (2.9mm internal diameter) supplied. These are ideal for most solid elastic and up to yellow 1012 Carp Bungee hollow elastic or equivalent. If you prefer to use much thicker pole elastic, three larger diameter 5.4mm Super Slick PTFE Bushes (4.2mm internal diameter) are also supplied. The pole will only need trimming back approximately 18cm to fit these much larger PTFE Bushes.
