The rod comes with two dedicated top sections, an avon style top with a 1.25 test curve and also a quiver tip section which is supplied with a 2oz glass tip and 3oz carbon tip.
With the ability to change top sections, this rod becomes extremely versatile and enables the angler to use this rod for multiple uses, on both rivers and still waters and for a range of species and angling situations.
The rod is made from a high-modulus carbon blank that is extremely well balanced with both top sections and has full SiC guides, secure DPS reel seat, stylish matt green paint finish, cork handle with duplon casting grip and has an excellent casting and fish playing action.
The Drennan Specialist Twin Tip Duo Rod 12ft 1.25lb comes with two dedicated top sections giving you the ability to change top sections. This coarse fishing rod is extremely versatile and enables the angler to use this rod in a range of specialist fishing situations, whether it is fishing a lake for Tench and Bream or a river for Barbel and Chub, this Drennan Twin Tip Duo Rod will have you covered.
This 12ft rod from Drennan is supplied with both an Avon style top which has a 1.5lb test curve, perfect for Tench fishing or barbel fishing with large feeders and also a quiver tip top section which is supplied with a 2oz glass quiver tip and a 3oz carbon tip that is perfect for method feeder fishing for carp or ledgering on rivers for chub. This Drennan fishing rod is made from a high modulus carbon rod blank that is extremely well balanced with both top sections. This rod has plenty of power in the butt section for casting heavy leads or feeders, but there is enough cushion in either top section of this rod to prevent hook pulls at the net or absorb long runs from specimen fish.
As with all Drennan rods, only the finest materials have been used with full SIC guides being used throughout the rod. A secure DPS reel seat has been used which allows the rod to be ranged with a range of fishing reels from small float/feeder reels to larger freespool fishing reels. Drennan have used a cork rod handle with a duplon casting grip which gives both an excellent casting and fish playing action. This Drennan Specialist rod is finished off with the traditional Drennan matt green paint finish giving this specimen rod a sleek and stylish look.
