To prevent your leadcore from becoming frayed during use, gently heat the end with a lighter. This will melt the fibres together forming a hardened tip. Insert needle supplied into leadcore to prevent sleeve from sealing Attaching mainlines to E-S-P Leadcore: 1 Push back outer sleeving to expose 1inch of lead. Break this section off and push sleeve forward to create a supple section. 2 Push the needle into the braided sleeve where the lead finishes. 3 Push needle out through end of braid. 4 Use lighter to melt fibres at this point. 5 Place mainline in hook of needle and pull back through braid. 6 Tie mainline around leadcore. 7 Moisten and ease up tight. Add super glue for extra security. To connect to bombs or swivels remove 3-4inch of lead as shown in Diag.1 and knot using a grinner or palomar.
