Gardner Covert C-Lok Flexi Ring Swivels,
Covert C-Lok Flexi-Ring Swivels are a hugely versatile quick change component that can be incorporated into almost any quick change hook rig, or on helicopter lead arrangements to enable you to swap looped hooklinks really quickly and easily. The inclusion of a Flexi Ring gives pop up hook rigs and Ronnie Rigs a perfect hinge point and this additional movement means that the hook is free to twist and flip. That means the rig reacts faster and hooks more fish! Its that simple
We recommend sleeving the C shaped crook with a piece of shrink tube to ensure that the hook is held securely in place. The C-Lok Flexi Ring Swivel will fit most hooks, sized 6 and larger. If youre using the C-Lok Flexi Ring swivel on a helicopter style lead arrangement to allow the quick change of looped hooklinks you will find that the addition of the Flexi Ring really aids consistent tangle free presentation.
When mounting looped hooklinks on a C-Lok Swivel, we again recommend that you sleeve the crook to lock the hooklink securely in place, but this time we recommend that you use a Covert Anti Tangle Sleeve. Our experience with Helicopter rigs is that they work best with the smallest possible sleeve at the lead end, so we suggest that you use either a Short Anti-Tangle Sleeve or a trimmed down standard one so that it just secures the hooklink. If you use a longer Anti Tangle Sleeve it touches the main line leader increasing friction and causes tangles.
