The Greys Fin Fly Rod supplied in this combo is a high quality 4pc rod and features both an AA cork handle and alloy & wood reel seat. These features not only add performance but also give it that ultra slick look on the bank. Double foot snake guides have been used where the wire is angled. This allows knows to slip over the guide easier, preventing your fly line from tangling on retrieve.
A nice touch of this fly fishing rod is the lined stripper guides, which allows you to strip off fly line in increments and know how fast or slow you are retrieving your fly on a given case. Great on them when you need to keep varying your retrieval rates to fool wary trout!
The Fly Reel supplied with this fly fishing combo is the beautiful performance Greys FIN reel in a never before seen Di-cast construction. The FIN fly reel is constructed from durable injection molded aluminum that undergoes two unique machining processes to perfect and polish it to a stunning multi-color finish. The fly reels is fitted with a full rulon disc brake system that provides a sturdy smooth drag. The fully enclosed frame prevents line escape and is designed with a large arbor spool for rapid retrieve and line care.
The fly reel is fully loaded with a twin colour floating fly line. This change of colour marks the sweet spot of the line, ensuring easy identification and thus performance! The suppled fly fishing line features a front welded loop, which is designed to not only enable easy casting, but also quick fly leader changes, making this suitable for fly anglers of all abilities.
