The 4 section Greys Fly Rod supplied in this combo features medium fast action rod blanks, which allows you to feel the rod load up the line on the back cast. The advantage of this is it allows you to time your back cast, making casting easier. The fly rod has a ultra slick look thanks the combination of a lightweight cork handle with an anodized reel seat. A nice touch of this fly fishing rod is the lined stripper guides, which allows you to strip off fly line in increments and know how fast or slow you are retrieving your fly on a given case. Great on them when you need to keep varying your retrieval rates to fool wary trout!
The fly fishing reel supplied is made from a aluminium body, which ensures that the fly reel is exceptionally strong, yet lightweight. The fly reel is fully loaded with weight forward floating fly line. The suppled fly fishing line features a front welded loop, which is designed to not only enable easy casting, but also quick fly leader changes, making this suitable for fly anglers of all abilities. Also, no need to worry about backing or leaders as these are all suppled and have been loaded to the exact requirements of the Greys Fly Fishing Team.
