The Icon Boat Rods are, as the name suggests, designed for boat work. Being boat rods, they are designed with limited space in mind and are shorter in length than traditional beach rods, the range includes two 8ft rods and one 7ft 2inch rod.
The two-piece blanks are ultra-slim and constructed from high-modulus carbon and sport a high gloss finish with Icon branding and rod specifications towards the butt section of the rod. The blank is lined with SiC bounded guides, SiC or Silicon Carbide guides are twelve times harder and one-third lighter than stainless steel guides, generating less heat and lower friction allowing you to cast greater distances with improved accuracy.
A fuji DPS style reel seat will comfortably house your reel of choice and minimise any lateral movement whilst playing a hard fighting smooth hound or bass. Either side of the reel seat is a Japanese shrink-wrapped EVA handle, ergonomically designed to make handling the rod more comfortable, the curvature of the handle lends itself to a sea fishing grip.

Return of goods & Refunds
Any incorrect or damaged goods must be reported within 5 days of receipt. These will be replaced as soon as possible at no expense to yourself. All unwanted items must be either returned at your own expense or taken into your local Angling Direct store.
