Nash Airball Pop Up Mix, A specially formulated product to help create your own own airball pop ups. Lactalbumin, Soya isolate, fat filled whey powder, a special cereal blend, a secret food binder and an ultra buoyant ingredient ensures that there is as many, or more, food signals from the Airball pop-up mix as there is from any conventional bottom bait base mix. This is vital as the pop-up is the most important bait there is and there is an element of porous-ness within the base mix to further enhance and emulate the attractiveness of both the mix and the attractors within. All of Nashbaits Pop-ups are made with the Airball Pop-up mix. The standard ones we balance by adding base mix powder so that a size 6 hook and a BB shot just takes the bait down, however the new Rainbows are much more buoyant for zig and chod methods. This is how versatile and attractive this mix is, enabling the angler to produce awesome pop-ups, that emits food signals from the base mix but also allows flavours and attractors to leak out making very little difference to the buoyancy of each bait. Some anglers have had some trouble producing perfect round baits with our pop-up mix. This is down to to much heat while boiling. Because of the nature of some of the food ingredients the mix is porous so will take in water during boiling. The trick is to gently simmer the rolled paste, stirring continually. To make the baits a little harder as soon as you take them out of the pan immerse them in cold water. Dry the finished baits for a few days to take all the moisture out so they dont go of, of freeze them untill used if you want the edge of not using the dried biscuit like hook baits that other anglers use. If fishing deep waters Nashbait Pop-up mix 50/50 with the bottom bait base mix is excellent to wrap round cork balls. This is more buoyant than using just a bottom bait base mix and ensures you are fishing a pop-up even in the greater water pressure in the deeps.
