Nash Bank Life Blockhouse is a spacious session shelter designed for carp anglers who want maximum comfort during longer stays on the bank. It’s especially well suited to holiday venues and pre-booked swims where internal space, weather protection and liveability are more important than just having shelter. It's also Ideal for someone who just wants more room inside than you can get form a more traditional carp fishing bivvy.
The rectangular frame maximises usable internal space, while the 205cm apex height allows anglers to stand upright inside for changing clothes, stretching or organising kit more comfortably. The shelter is large enough to fit a Wide or Emperor sleep system with space to spare, or two Standard sleep systems with room between them.
The continuous frame design uses Speed Up joints for a fast-erect setup, with a twin-leg structure designed to give strength and stability in demanding conditions. TerraShell 200 fabric provides a 10,000mm waterproof rating, with a 200 denier cross weave and PU coating for durability and resistance to long-term UV fading.
A rigid cross-frame porch with support poles and guy ropes adds shade and rain protection, while the front tension bar helps prevent water pooling. The porch can also be rolled away when not needed, giving anglers flexibility depending on the weather and how they want to set up the swim.
Ventilation panels on all sides help manage airflow, and the full-size twin-zip door includes mesh, nylon and clear PVC panel options. The front door can be used in either letterbox or standard roll-up format, giving practical control over airflow, visibility and protection in changing conditions.
The continuous seal heavy-duty groundsheet helps create a more enclosed barrier, while the internal vapour shield is designed to reduce condensation drip and includes a central hanging hook for lights or receivers. Four hanging points under the porch canopy add extra convenience for lights, receivers or clothing.
It is supplied with two two-rod Velcro rod support bars, 15 Nash T-grip pegs and a heavy-duty carry bag, giving anglers the core components needed for a complete session shelter setup. The listed dimensions are 205cm high, 284cm wide and 310cm deep, with a stated weight of 23.5kg.
It offers strong value for anglers who prioritise comfort, space and protection on longer sessions rather than travelling as light as possible. Nash’s Bank Life range is built around extended-session carp fishing, and the Blockhouse fits that approach with a roomy, highly practical shelter design.
Best suited to intermediate and experienced carp anglers, it’s also a worthwhile upgrade for committed beginners planning longer sessions who want a more comfortable and organised bankside living space.
