Nash Fish Frenzy Sticky Method Pellet, Sticky Pellet came about almost by accident. Whilst shooting a magazine feature up at Hayfield Fishery near Doncaster Paul Garner got talking to England International Paul Yates about different pellets for using on the method feeder. In deeper water neither of them were happy with the pellets that were commonly available, so they set Gary Bayes the task of coming up with a pellet that was naturally more sticky, easy to prepare, and that can be used in any depth of water, yet still break down quickly. After extensive testing of numerous test batches, the perfect combination of stickiness, yet clean break down was achieved with a fantastic 6mm pellet. The 6mm Sticky Pellets need preparing slightly differently to the smaller versions. For best results begin by adding a small amount of water and mixing the pellets well so they are only just covered. Leave for about 10 minutes and then add a little extra water. Because of the size of these pellets adding water to them twice allows it to penetrate much further into the pellet and stops the outside from becoming too wet. We use 6mm Sticky Pellets on the Method feeder, as a loose feed and also in open-end feeders when river fishing. We have also done very well using a mixture of different sizes of sticky pellets and even mixing in a few halibuts as well. Sticky Pellets are available in 900 gram bags and three different sizes: 2mm, 3mm and 6mm. Available in a variety of flavours as well as the original unflavoured pellets, allowing you to flavour them yourself, or so that they can be mixed with your normal pellets.
