The Nash Siren RS-1 alarm system is innovative in many ways, not least because of its unique two-way radio system. This allows you to modify tone, volume, and sensitivity settings using the receiver, where other bit alarm systems require you to modify all these features on the bite alarm itself. Not only does this mean you can adjust your bite alarm from the comfort of your bivvy, but it also extends the life of the bite alarm. Most alarms feature adjustment dials, and these dials are the most common areas for water penetration, causing alarm failure. With this innovative two-way system, the bite alarm doesn’t require any of these adjustment dials and therefore is infinitely less likely to sustain water damaged leading to alarm failure. The Nash Siren RS-1 has five volume settings, enabling you to expertly adjust the volume to the exact level you require. It also features a unique vibration setting, which is perfet for the hard or hearing angler, as well as anglers who like optimum stealth. The alarm also had five tone settings, and as stated both the volume and tone are exclusively operated by the remote. The alarm itself memorises the last setting you used, even after the alarm has been switched off. The Nash Siren RS-1 also features a revolutionary sensor, by which line speed rather than direction of movement is picked up. This allows the alarm to be incredibly accurate, seriously reducing the risk of false indications, and enables the alarm to be operated perfectly even in incredibly windy conditions. The Siren RS-1 also has an anti-theft system pre-installed. This not only protects the alarm itself but also your precious rods and reels. Should a thief try and tamper with your alarms in any way, the receiver will emit a long anti-theft warning sound.
