Whether carp fishing or specialist fishing for barbel, bream and tench these Okuma Powerliner Pro Reels are more than up to the job!

Okuma have centred the design of this reel around a corrosion-resistant graphite body, that also offers a great deal of stiffness and strength whilst being incredibly light so it perfectly matches with your fishing rod. Fitted with a 4+1 ball bearing drive system, which ensures that the reel will always run smoothly and reliably, even when used intensively! For additional power when playing large fish such as carp and barbel, Okuma have utilised a precision machine-cut brass pinion gear and a multi stop anti reverse system. These free spool reels feature a precision elliptical gearing system which helps line lay on the spool of this reel. A on/off auto trip bait feeding system features on these fishing reels, which allows aggressive biting fish to take line off the reel on the bite, ensuring your fishing rod is not pulled off the rest, but as soon as you turn the reel, this system automatically switches off, allowing you to play the fish normally. For the bite, the free spool rear drag is independent from the front drag, so you can have them both set different dependent on the fishing situation

This fishing reel also features a multi-disc, oiled felt drag system that offers efficient stopping power and smoothness, which eliminates the drag jerking when playing fish and ensures a smooth delivery of power from the reel leading to less line breakages when playing specimen fish. This fishing reel has also been made to last thanks to its machined aluminium anodized spool with metal line clip and its corrosion resistant heavy duty solid aluminium bail wire. A great addition to these fishing reels is a spare graphite spool, which allows anglers to carry another line option, whether it be a heavier line or braided fishing line. This reel also features a T-bar knob on the handle that makes this reel comfortable to use on even long fishing sessions with repeated casting.
