Trakker 42inch Landing Net Spare Olive Mesh
Organisation and preparation are two of the biggest assets to any angler on the bank; without them you’ll be left with a disappointing session. However, although it isn’t uncommon for anglers to carry spare terminal tackle, line, and even reels around with them it is worryingly rare for an angler to carry a spare landing net. Landing nets are some of the most important bits of kit you can own, however, as without them you’re never going to be able to get that personal best catch on the bank to weight and photograph – no matter how talented you are. What’s more, accidents can always happen and you could very easily find yourself left high and dry with a ripped, torn, or otherwise worn landing net. This is where an appropriate spare mesh really comes in handy.
This Trakker 42 inch Landing Net Spare Mesh has been designed to fit on either the Trakker EQ or CR 42 inch landing nets – although it can fit on any 42 inch landing net arms. By simply packing this mesh into you luggage you can always be confident that you’ll be able to get your catch onto the bank. It is in a stylish olive green colour, ensuring that it will perfectly complement your existing angling items, and it is manufactured from high quality hex mesh. This is completely fish friendly, so, provided you practise proper fish care you never have to worry about damaging your quarry on the bank. The mesh is 95cm deep. This means that it is easily deep enough to act as a temporary retainer, not only allowing your fish to recover before you set it back into its watery home but also giving you time to prep any weighing scales, unhooking equipment, or to recast your rod. This is also shallow enough that it doesn’t weigh you down with unnecessary weight, too, as landing nets can be exceptionally heavy when wet.
