The Advanta FD 6500 Big Pit reel has been designed to offer maximum casting distances to anglers who fish a wide range of venues from lakes to powerful rivers but where large reels and long rods are not required. The size of the Advanta big pit 6500 would lend itself perfectly with rods of 9 or 10 ft or where boats can be used to lower and position rigs. The reel is built using an ultra-lightweight body to reduce unnecessary weight. The reduced weigh means casting long distance is made easier and more accurate by increasing the speed of the rod during the cast and reducing wobble associated with heavy reels. The Advanta Big Pit 6500 reel features a quick drag system, super slow oscillation for improved line lay, a deep aluminium spool with line friendly line clip and a 6+1 Stainless steel ball bearing construction. The internal gears are made using the highest quality materials and are built around a strong worm shaft gear structure to ensure maximum winding power when playing fish or retrieving rigs from long distances.
