The MRP spod and marker combination rod from the Advanta Discovery range can get your baits to reach far out into the horizon, alongside your main rod with ease. At the rod length of 12ft and a test curve of 4.5lbs, the MRP spod/marker rod enables you to maintain a bed of bait around your hookbait, whilst combatting the task of getting those particle baits further out in the water.

 Like the other MRP rods of the Discovery range, this spod and marker combo rod are made from 2 sections of high-quality low resin 30T carbon blanks, ensuring the correct level of stiffness and strength that enables an impressive, powerful multi-range blank action.

Despite the spod rod being able to take plenty of tip pressure, the rod blank is slim and lightweight for easy transportation to the bankside.  The strong construction does not stop there as the MRP rod also houses a 1k weave section above the Fuji black 18mm DPS reel seat. This ensures maximum strength when casting your bait far out to and will also assist on retrievals.

To match the excellent multi-action of the rod blanks, the Discovery MRP spod or marker sports Seaguide black ABTDG double leg guides and Seaguide black HBXALST anti-frap tip guide, both with stainless steel liner and frame. These guides ensure the spod/marker rod can absorb plenty of pressure as your line passes through. Additionally, this 12ft marker has a 50mm Guide pattern that reduces the chance of the fishing line grabbing the butt ring and frapping during a cast.

To a high-quality finish, the MRP rod features a full shrink wrap handle with lower flare and an Advanta laser etched butt cap.
