Avid Carp EXO+ RV Shelter Storm Cap Wrap is a dedicated overwrap designed to improve the comfort and performance of the EXO+ RV Shelter during longer carp fishing sessions. It creates a dual-layer thermal barrier that helps retain warmth in colder weather, reduces heat transfer in warmer conditions and significantly cuts down condensation inside the shelter.
The 10,000mm hydrostatic head khaki polyester fabric gives strong waterproof protection, making it a useful upgrade for anglers fishing through rain, wind and changeable conditions. The extended Storm Cap wrap peak increases front coverage by 30cm, helping shield the doorway and front of the bivvy from the elements.
Two zip-through access vents allow the shelter’s rear vents to be used even with the wrap fitted, so airflow can still be adjusted without removing the overwrap. This keeps the setup practical across different seasons, whether you need extra ventilation in warmer weather or a more enclosed feel overnight.
The wrap is supplied with a carry bag and heavy-duty pegs, making transport and setup straightforward. It measures 140cm high, 270cm wide and 230cm long when fitted, with packed dimensions of 65 x 18 x 18cm and a total weight of 3kg.
It is compatible only with EXO+ RV Shelters and is not designed for use with Storm Caps or Extension Caps. This makes it a focused upgrade for anglers already using the EXO+ RV and wanting better insulation, weather protection and condensation control.
