Century NCS Rod, The Century NCS Rod includes a Hb20 Reel Seat. Centurys NCS (New Century Speed) Rod is a carp rod with a fine pedigree. Only the best raw materials have been selected to balance the requirements for performance, low weight and diameter with a reliable ongoing supply. Utilising a combination of machine cut cross ply 35gsm carbon, intermediate and high modulus carbon with a woven 1k-1k twill outer sheath makes the architecture of the blank a true masterpiece. Century, by optimising the carbon patterns, have generated a classic mid to tip action in the NCS allowing super smooth casts and effortless playability and of course the rod is subject to their unique Autoclave technology for action retention. Century has designed the action of the NCS to sit in between the NG and SP ranges.
