Century has used Graphex technology in this bespoke design, combining resin matrix and Graphene to benefit the rods; durability, distance, tracking, sensitivity, dampening recovery to neutral and weight saving.
This is the third generation of Tip Tornado Graphex rods which captures the best of the past and as well as defined advances in manufacturing and material technology. The Tip Tornado Graphex Super Match takes forward one of the most highly regarded design concepts and moves it forward into a different realm of balance, ease of use and sensitivity.
These are Versatile rods with a range of casting weight capabilities:125-200g, thus the rod actions vary from Light Heavy - Mixed – Smooth! The Century rod is purposeful and with a huge range of capability in several fishing scenarios, it reaches close, medium and long-range, propelling a wide range of rigs and bait packages with minimum effort and confidence.
The length of the Graphex Supermatch is 13ft 6Inch, sporting CNC machined, tapered reverse fit joint as well as Autoclave Technology for maximum resin matrix consolidation. To maximise bite indication sensitivity, Century has used SG-T Glass and IM carbon cored tips.
Cosmetically, this is a stunning rod with the blank colour of Midnight Black, tied in with platinum metallic, azure blue inlays and tips and jet black intermediates. The handle is a secure Japanese shrink rubber which has a JSR rubber separator grip on lower tip and upper butt.
The rod even comes complete with a Century partition rod case!
