Offering a large fit for ultimate comfort everything about these glasses has been geared up for saltwater anglers, from the frame to the lens options.

The first thing you’ll notice when you pick up a pair of Costa del Mar Brine Sunglasses is how exceptionally well made the frame is. Built from TR90 nylon, all of the frames that Costa manufactures are handmade to ensure their impeccable quality. Co-moulded for that perfect fit, Costa has also injected Hydrolite into the temples of these glasses. Hydrolite is a specialised rubber material that ensures that even when your face is slick with water your glasses aren’t going anywhere. Long gone are the days of glasses-chains and croakies when you’re using Hydrolite injected glasses – you can keep your full focus on all the fish playing action.

There are six different lens and frame options for the Costa del Mar Brine sunglasses. Two of the lenses have been purpose designed with sea fishing in bright sunlight in mind. For the very brightest off shore conditions Costa recommends investing in their blue lenses, which come supplied in a black frame. These 580P lenses eliminate glare from the water and ensure you can sight fish with clarity. If you prefer fishing from the shore then Costa’s green lenses are ideal for you. Constructed from 580G, these glass lenses have encapsulated mirrors for greatly visual acuity and are supplied in crystal white-to-black frames.

The other four lenses in the range are suited to variable and low light conditions. The silver lenses are ideal for cloudy days when you need colours enhanced and are supplied in gunmetal frames. This makes them ideal for most UK angling conditions and they perform just as well on the bank as they do on the coast. The grey lenses are supplied in black frames and give the most ‘natural’ vision of all the glasses. These are ideal for the angler who spends as much time away from the water as they do on it. For the angler who fishes in very variable conditions Costa’s copper lens option in the tortoiseshell frame are ideal and for very low light angling Costa has produced sunrise lenses. Supplied in tortoiseshell frames, these glasses are unsuitable for driving due to their epic colour warping abilities. All of the above lenses offer 580P technology.
