This is Daiwa’s patented bail system which makes loose line snags a thing of the past. Based around a hollow tubular stainless steel bail design, which is protrusion free, the Air Bail system ensures that all loose line slides onto the line roller with ease.
Twist Buster II is in full operation on the line roller and it works to negate line twist. Powered by Daiwa’s corrosion resistant ball bearing, the Twist Buster II also eliminates excess friction between the line and the roller, extending the life of both the line and the roller itself.
Digigear technology in the gearing system makes the retrieve a dream with the Crosscast X. Digigear is Daiwa’s digital gearing system which ensures that the alloy drive gear and the marine bronze pinion gear mesh perfectly, creating an ultra-tough gearing system. This allows you to operate at your optimum speed and you are able to access all of the power the reel has to offer. Digigear also increases the reel durability, as by ensuring a perfect mesh it minimises internal friction and misplaced energy. To finish off the retrieve technologies, the Crosscast X has also been fitted with Infinite Anti-Reverse.
