Daiwa Megatop Big Guide Quiver Tips
If you’re an angler who likes to have complete versatility when feeder fishing then these Megatop Big Guide Quiver Tips are ideal for you. Designed to be completely compatible with all current UK made Daiwa feeder rods, including the Airity range but excluding the Daiwa Carp and Team Daiwa feeder ranges, these quiver tips add yet another string to your match fishing bow.
If you took a double take at the phrase ‘UK made Daiwa feeder rods’ we wouldn’t blame you. It’s a little known fact that Daiwa’s largest factory outside of the Far East can actually be found on our little island. This means that if you’re in the market for a brand new Daiwa rod and you’re buying from a UK tackle retailer then chances are your rod will have been designed and manufactured in Whishaw, Scotland.
As the name suggests these Megatop Quiver Tips have been fitted with oversized guides. This is ideal for the angler who feeder fishes with a complex rig setup as it allows for any chunky knots on your line to glide through the guide rings without the risk of snagging. Constructed from carbon, these quiver tips are able to offer you the kind of sensitivity that you require when you’re faced with delicate takes. There are two different tip options available in the Megatop Big Guide Quiver Tip range. These are colour coded, so if you were to invest in both options you could easily distinguish between the two. The lighter of the two tips has a yellow identification band and registers a 1.5oz test curve. This offers a medium feel and is ideal for slower moving waters where additional sensitivity is key for ensuring you don’t miss out on a take. The 2oz quiver tip features a red identification band and is ideal for faster flowing waters where you don’t want to confuse the tug of the current with a delicate bite.
