Known for its fishing reels, Daiwa is a Japanese brand that aims to produce the most technically advanced fishing equipment in the world. This is an aim that is routinely met, and Daiwa is a world leader in coarse, carp, sea, and Predator fishing products.

Coarse and match fishing often entails keeping fish retained for a short duration and the best way to do this is in a keep net. The square shape means this net is likely to lay along flat to the bottom of shallow waters, near the water's edge.

This particular Daiwa keepnet is designed with rivers and running water in mind. With running waters it is important to secure the net so fish do not end up trapped in the net. To achieve a secure hold in the water, the keepnet features a unique Daiwa locking block with two strong Aluminium top rings and three aluminium bottom rings. There are also two external pegging points on base to help secure the 3.5m net.

The mesh of the net also offers large enough gaps for fast flowing water to pass through. In the bottom, third ring section of the net there is two handles to help collect fish and the net.
