Perfectly matching its spinning reel counterparts, the Ninja Match has a sleek black body with a vivid red spool. However, like all Daiwa reels its stunning cosmetics are more than matched by its staggering credentials and the Ninja Match is backed up with a number of top end technologies.

The body of this reel is constructed out of durable and weight saving graphite. Graphite is one of the most popular reel construction materials out there because of these two properties, and some of the highest performing reels in the world have graphite bodies. However, this wasn’t enough for Daiwa and the brand has fitted the Ninja Match with a top end Air Rotor. This is not only exceptionally strong but also saves the reel a considerable amount of weight – ensuring it balances perfectly on any top quality match rod.

The shape of the Air Rotor also works to improve the reels performance under a heavy load. This is further aided by the geared down retrieve, offering increased winding power that is essential for pulling in the largest and most aggressive of fish. This is a front drag reel, which means it is ideal for use with all line types, including braided mainlines.  Four ball bearings and Infinite Anti-Reverse ensure that the Ninja Match is a pleasure to use and smooth to operate.
