The name Powermesh has a long history in carp fishing, with the first model being launched in the early 90’s. Back then even 11’ models and lighter test curves were a common choice.

Over the decades Powermesh has continued to evolve, featuring improved technologies, longer models and of course higher test curves.

But in that time one key feature has remained true; the power delivery of their blank. Embracing innovative use of carbons, the first models featured an external, interlaced ‘mesh’ of carbon that resulted in superior torque resistance and ‘power’ conversion.

Today it is the hidden technology of HVF - High Volume Fibre that delivers a tremendous casting and fish playing performance. The heightened density of multi directional carbon filaments and reduced proportion of bonding resins brings a handling and feel that betrays their true power.

Their level of feel is enhanced even further thanks to ultra-light TDG guides. Steel throughout, their refined structure also features no ceramic. Their clever weight saving design enhances balance, allows the blank to return even more quickly and reduces distance sapping tip oscillation. We have also applied an anti-tangle tip guide.

The handle is combination of a Fuji DPS reel seat and Japanese shrink grip to compliment the rods sleek matt finish.
