The Procaster EVO is fitted with one of Daiwa’s revolutionary ABS spools. These spools are not like traditional match spools. Their oversized diameter and extra thin top edge ensures that line is released in huge coils with limited friction. This means that you are able to cast longer distances with harder or heavier casts, without the risk of tangles or unnecessary wear and tear on the line. The spool is fitted with a HIP line clip. This is Daiwa’s patented sprung loaded line clip, enabling you to fish on the clip for incredibly accuracy cast after cast without the risk of damaging your line. It also allows you to fish with any line type, as the spring can accommodate lines of various diameters with ease. The line roller on the Procaster EVO is titanium coated, for durability, and is fitted with Daiwa’s TwistBuster technology. This ensures that you don’t experience any line twist, which not only ensures you can fish with any line with confidence but it also preserves the life of the line. The Procaster EVO is fitted with Digigear technology. This is Daiwa’s digital gearing system that guarantees a perfect mesh between the gears every time. Not only does this increase the power that is able to be transmitted in the gearing but it also reduces the wear and tear on the gears.
