Team Daiwa Match and Feeder Rod
The Team Daiwa series is highly prestigious and tackled that is given the name has had to more than simply meet expectations on the bank; it has had to exceed them at every level. Since river fishing and coarse fishing on wild waters has been making a resounding comeback in recent years, Daiwa thought it was only right that they had a dedicated range of feeder rods available for anglers who preferred the more traditional side of the sport. The Team Daiwa Match and Feeder Rods have been purpose built to do just that and they are perfect for all manner of feeder fishing on the country’s rivers.
There are two different lengths of rod available in the Team Daiwa Match and Feeder series. The smallest of the two is an 11ft 6” feeder rod. This has been purpose designed for targeting skimmers and is a great way of boosting your weight in a match. The longer rod comes in at 12ft 6”. This rod has been designed for the other end of the spectrum and it will perfectly suit any angler who likes to target coarse fish on big waters and fast flowing rivers.
Both of the rods have been constructed with the same great high modulus carbon. This is a carbon type that creates the perfect balance with stiffness of casting and responsiveness on a take and most top end rods you’ll find will be constructed from a similar high modulus material. Both rods feature a larger butt diameter than a traditional commercial rod, ensuring that they are able to offer the kinds of power needed when you’re launching heavy feeders in the fast flowing or open waters, even when the elements (such as a nasty cross wind) aren’t in your favour. Both rods have been fitted with a handy hook keeper, allowing you to transport your rod fully made up without the fear that your terminal tackle setup is going to damage your rod in transit, and both feature a high grade cork handle and an EVA fore and rear grip to give you full angling confidence.
