Team Daiwa Match Rods
If you’re looking for a rod series that exceeds your expectations on the bank time after time without breaking your bank account then you need look no further than the Team Daiwa rod series. With rods available in all areas of the sport, the Team Daiwa series is often seen as the crème de la crème of Daiwa’s production and it’s the gear that the Team Daiwa consultants use themselves on the bank. This is the range of float rods from the series and they have each been built with a specific match fishing purpose in mind.
Match fishing has really grown in popularity over recent years and the sport has featured a rebirth of interested thanks to the fantastic species that can now be caught in the UK’s rivers. These three rods are all three piece constructions and they are great for a range of float and pellet waggler match fishing styles. All of the rods in the range boast the same high modulus carbon fibre construction. This is one of the most popular forms for carbon fibre in rod design as it allows for the perfect marriage between distance casting ability and fish playing responsiveness. If you’re an angler who doesn’t like to compromise, then a high modulus carbon blank is the one for you. All of the rods feature a DPS style reel seat. This not only looks good but it also ensures that your reels are anchored onto your rod – even under intense strain. The high grade cork handle keeps the rod light and also gives it its classic appearance, and the modern EVA fore and rear grips ensure that you won’t be hanging on to your rod for dear life after an aggressive take. The hook keeper on the rod allows you to transport it fully set up without worrying that your terminal tackle will damage your rod in transit.
The 13ft and 14ft rods in the range are suitable for a range of waggler and slider work, as well as offering great float control with both top and bottom float fishing styles. The 15ft/17ft version of the rod is ideal for serious river work when you need the ability to control your tackle in deep water.
