As the name suggests, the Daiwa Wilderness Three-Quarter Length Jacket is longer than the traditional angling jacket. This is to ensure that when you bend or sit at the bank – whether that is to reach over the water to net your catch or when you’re in your chair waiting for your bite alarm – you are completely protected from cold draughts. Another of the practically driven features on the Daiwa Wilderness Three-Quarter Length Jacket is the reinforcement on the shoulders and elbows. This ensures that you don’t experience any premature wear and tear from performing basic bankside tasks – such as carrying your luggage. The jacket boasts six pockets, allowing you plenty of storage space for all your angling essentials. These include two Velcro fastened front pockets, two stud fastened waist pockets, one zip closing chest pocket, and one internal check pocket. The latter pocket has been designed to sit inside the storm flap of the jacket, affording its contents additional protection from the elements.

The hood on the jacket can be rolled neatly and fastened to keep it tidy and out of the way when the rain isn’t falling. It also features an elasticated draw cord to provide additional protection from the elements and to eliminate uncomfortable draughts. The cuffs on the Wilderness Three-Quarter Length Jacket are neoprene and Velcro adjustable to ensure you can achieve the perfect fit and the waist band of the jacket is also adjustable for the same reason.
