Discover Carp Rod,
The range of Discover carp rods has been designed to offer unrivalled performance and looks way above their price points. The rods are an ideal starting point for any angler who wants to get setup to fish for specimen size Carp. The rods feature a twin material construction with a composite butt and a lightweight carbon tip section, this allows the price to be kept to a minimum but the action and feel of the rod to be like those of much higher price tags. The rods all feature abbreviated handles and grips and are fitted with lightweight LS ceramic eyes. On the 10ft models a 40mm butt guide is used but for the longer 12ft and spod & Marker models a 50mm butt guide is fitted to maximize casting range. The Discover Carp rods also feature a DPS style reel seat which will comfortably hold any size reel to suit your angling requirements. A flared rear grip is a great feature to aid with holding the rod during long casts and aids control and accuracy during the cast. There are 4 models in the Discover Carp range to suit all styles of angling from stalking on smaller waters to casing long distance on big windswept pits, a dedicated 4.5lb test curve spod & marker rod finishes off the range and are available in both 10 and 12ft to complement your fishing rods and required casting range. The spod & marker rod features two 1ft equally spaced indicators on the blank to aid when accurately marking out the water in front of you. All the Discover rods come supplied in a cloth rod bag for transport and storage.

These Carp Rods feature a twin material construction with a composite butt and a lightweight carbon tip section, this allows the price to be kept to a minimum but the action and feel of the rod to be like those of much higher price tags. The action of this rod means there is plenty of flexibility in the tip section to absorb lunges from fish at the landing net, but enough power in the butt section to cast large leads and PVA bags or tame even the largest of carp.

Lightweight LS ceramic rings have been used throughout the fishing rod, making the rod lightweight but also reduce friction on your Fishing Line when casting allowing you to cast further!
