These Carp Waggler rods from Drennan form part of the exceptional Series 7 Puddle Chucker range. Designed to stand up to the scrutiny of top anglers in the match fishing community, this rod is also suitable for the occasional pleasure angler too. Available in both 11ft and 12ft in length, the Puddle Chucker Carp Waggler is constructed from high modulus carbon with a quality cork handle. This makes the rod incredibly easy to use and very lightweight, with a wonderful fish playing action. Both rods are supplied with their own luggage, including a rod sleeve and neoprene bands for the safe storage and transportation of fully made-up rods.
The 11ft Puddle Chucker Carp Waggler is a balanced two piece float rod. Its shorter length makes it ideal for use on smaller commercial carp waters, where casting distance isn’t the key player in catch rate success. With enough flexibility to flick out floats, the 11ft Carp Waggler is powerful enough to cast heavier loads too. A soft playing action rod, the rod allows you to have great control over your fish, especially when you are playing your fish in the netting range. Its action also significantly reduces the chance of hook pulls, too. Designed with small carp fishing in mind, this rod is also pleasant to use with silver fish. Ideally fished with 3lb to 6lb lines straight through or with hooklengths to match, the 11ft version is the perfect tool for the angler looking to tackle small carp on commercials up and down the country.
The 12ft Puddle Chucker Carp Waggler is also an ideal float rod for tackling commercial fisheries. However, the extended length and slightly forward tip action makes casting distances comfortable even when using floats up to 8g. Able to handle hard fighting carp, the length of this rod gives you excellent line control too. With a forgiving action that really comes into play when you’re handling large fish, this is the ideal carp fishing rod for tackling those hard fighting commercial carp. This rod also has an ideal line of 3lb to 6lb fished straight or with matching hook lengths.

Return of goods & Refunds
