- Fluorocarbon is practically invisible in water, so fusion booms provide a serious edge for rig shy carp, especially in clear water
- Fluorocarbon sinks heavily and stays pinned to the lakebed without the need for additional weight along the boom
- The stiffness of the booms makes them almost impossible to tangle on the cast, but each one is supplied with a Streamliner sleeve to secure the loop to the quick-change swivel at the lead end
