Description
ESP Perforated PVA Bags,
All ESP PVA bags are coated with a neutral food grade powder to prevent them sticking together and to ensure they are easy to open.
Many thin film bags begin meltdown on descent and release the bait prematurely. But not these PVA bags. The special PVA film is tough and strong yet melts down without residue and most importantly, does so within the correct time frame.
Available in both PLAIN and PERFORATED.
ESP Plain PVA Bags are suitable for use with oil based liquid additives and flavourings.
ESP Perforated PVA Bags have multiple small holes over their whole surface so pockets of air cannot remain trapped inside the bag. This makes them ideal for distance casting and ensures they sink rapidly in deep water.
Dimensions:
Mini 50mm x 100mm 25 units
Multi 85mm x 100mm 20 units
Sock 60mm x 220mm 15 units
Bulk 85mm x 175mm 15 units
PVA Bags create a concentrated feeding area. To ensure the rig works efficiently, you should always use a hooklink which is shorter than the length of the bag. Place the lead in the bottom of the bag and keep the hooklink at the top. Fill in around the rig, keeping the lead in a central position. This will ensure the bag has a distinct weight bias towards the bottom and flies straight and true on casting. Pear shaped leads will further increase casting distance, accuracy and stability.
For short to medium range casting the hookpoint can simply be nicked through the top of the bag avoiding the centre of the knot. For maximum range casting it is better to place the lead inside the bag, threading the hook and hooklength through the bottom. Once the bag is filled, attach the hookbait and simply nick the hookpoint through the side of the bag.
