The perfect temporary sanctuary for carp and specialist species, this Fox Deluxe Carpmaster Mat offers maximum protection from bankside debris whilst making the unhooking, weighing and photography process quick and easy so you can get the fish back into their watery home quicker.
Fox has given the deluxe unhooking mat a compact, folded away design made from an outer material of 100% polyester and a filling of 55% Polyethylene, 45% Polyurethane. For super padding for the fish to lay on, the standard sized mat has 70mm of high-density foam. This makes the base of the fish crib spongy and light, more convenient for travel.
The rigid padded walls are designed to shelter the fish more than the standardised mat design, and the solid, opaque panel retaining flap offer shading to keep the fish cool and calm. This can be secured with Velcro so the wind does not blow the flap up.
The 70mm high walls to the matt also have a large zipped gusseted pocket for storing carp care equipment, weighing scales and weigh bar. There are also loops for pegging the mat into the terrain to assure it does not move in a gust of wind.
There is a rubber mesh base for fast water drainage and soft-touch lining to meet then needs of the delicate scales on carp. For moving and carrying ease, the mat has EVA carry handles.
