Fox Horizon Fishing Rod, For fans of the original Horizon XT, there’s plenty that you will find familiar with this Fox Horizon rod series. Constructed from extremely low resin carbon, these rods are not only slim but also incredibly lightweight. The Fox Horizon series wrap draws together a 3K on the butt section, providing remarkable power and stiffness, and a 2K top section that has excellent speed. This speed is graduated down the blank and the rod has a nice through action that suits across a broad spectrum of fishing styles. The fox Horizon series is available in 2.75lb tests through to 3.5lb on a variety of rod lengths. The 2.75lb is available with either a cork handle or an abbreviated handle and gives a versatile through action that can get you out of trouble with a heap of poke on the bottom end, should you require it. The 3lb model is an all round outfit. It showcases remarkable tip speed for really chucking some distance. Both the 2.75lb and 3lb rods have 40mm butt guides through to 14mm tip rings. The 3.5lb rod has an incredibly fast tip. This rod is excellent distance casting tool – particularly in the 13ft length. To reduce friction on those high power distance casts, this rod is fitted with a 50mm butt guide through to a 16mm tip. All of the rods in the Horizon series feature Fuji 18mm DPS reel seats and Fox’s trademark SLIK guides. Gunsmoke capping and discrete graphics finish this rod and make it into a truly classy outfit.
