The GTA is a superb balanced spod rod that really excels with a medium-sized spomb or spod; but it can cope with a bigger baiting device if necessary. This rod is a delight to use, without fear of ripping your shoulder out of its socket, because its impossible to compress. Its amazing how much easier leading and baiting becomes with the right tools.

This rod offers amazing versatility with its 12-foot length reaching incredible casting distances, with a balance action thanks to the 12ft blank being made from 36-ton Mitsubishi carbon fibre. This GTA rod performs a balanced action from the carbon blank makes this rod suitable for spodding, spombing, marker float work and mapping a swim with a lead.

GTA rods are made on low resin prepreg blanks providing a lightweight medium-fast action blank, which ensures fast tip recovery and effortless accurate casting without being unforgiving or overly stiff. There is a full hi-gloss finish with 3K ballistic finish to just above the overfit joint, fixing the rod together and allowing for powerful motion in casting ability.

The combination of mandrel or materials gives a blank that offers a direct, responsive connection and this helps you lead and then bait that little bit more accurately and easily and allows a faster and more responsive tip action. The rod features super lightweight Minima guides that are combined with a conventional anti-frap tip ring which helps avoid snare at the beginning of your cast.

To help with casting the rod also features a line marker, whipped 30cm in front of the reel fitting assists with accurate plumbing. The machined DPS reel seat is made from 3K carbon fibre to match the rod with 3k finish.

The rod includes a full slim line shrink wrap handle with a wide SS butt cap to balance out the lightness and the full hi-gloss finish to the rod helps protect all components and maintains its aesthetics and performance.
