JRC Cocoon 2 Man Bivvy
Whether you’re planning an angling trip away with a friend or relative, or you’re simply an angler who likes to take a lot of kit down to the bank, this is the bivvy for you. The bigger brother of the extremely popular Cocoon, the JRC Two Man Cocoon Bivvy has ample storage room for two full sized bedchairs and all the kit you could require on a long bankside session.
Constructed from 10,000mm hydrostatic head (HH) nylon, this bivvy isn’t only waterproof but supremely durable. Unlike other models you won’t have to keep patching this bivvy up each time you erect it in a tight swim near aggressive foliage. Aero-grade aluminium poles keep this bivvy fully erect in even the most inclement of conditions and support the bivvy’s impressive 1.6m of internal height. Fitted with huge rear vents this bivvy is perfect for hot and muggy continental angling when you want a breeze running through your tent to keep you cool. The bivvy has a full three door option, so you can have a clear door, a covered green door, or full mozzie mesh door for those really warm nights.
A peaked front reduces the risk of rain running into the porch and also offers additional protection from the sun in extremely hot conditions. For colder nights there is also a full 10,000 nylon bivvy wrap available to buy separately – ideal if you are an angler who likes to be on the bank in all seasons.
The JRC Cocoon Two Man Bivvy comes supplied with stainless steel pegs, to keep it rooted to the ground; tension bars, to hold the bivvy’s structure in all weathers; a lightweight groundsheet, to keep the damp our from under you; and it’s own dedicated carry bag. In short, if you’re looking for a huge bivvy to keep you, a friend, and all your gear dry, then you need look no further.
